'H-Hello, I am your Herbology Teacher, Proffessor Longbottom. I went to 'Hogwarts When I was a kid, I was sorted into Gryfffindor. I went to school with Ron, Hermione and Harry. I Married Hannah Abbott.
I am a pure blood, and began school in 1991. I was sorted into Gryffindor. My parents, Alice and Frank were tortured to insanity by four Death Eaters. leaving Neville to be raised by his formidable grandmother, Augesta Longbottom.
Throughout my school years, I was mostly a shy, clumsy, introverted boy who was constantly being told by his grandmother that he wasn't good enough or living up to his parent's accomplishments. However, in my later years, he showed that he had lots of courage and perseverance: he became an important member of the DA who fought in the Battle of the Department of Mystries, the Battle of the Astronmy tower and the Battle of Hogwarts. During the Battle of Hogwarts, having refused Voldemort's invitation to join the Death Eaters, I destroyed the seventh and final Horcrux when I beheaded the snake Nagini. I also co-led the D.A. during his final year in opposition to the Death Eater professors. After the end of the 2nd Wizarding war I briefly served as an Auror before becoming Hogwart's Herbology Proffessor
